i got interviewed for an article in the new york times today.

eh. whatever.

JUST KIDDING.

i’m hesistant to say anything because there’s a 50% chance none of my brilliant quotes will make it in the article.

and by brilliant quotes, i mean dorky quotes. seriously. i IMed rockstar boyfriend immediately after and was all…”OMG. i just got off the phone. OMG, i sounded like a true DORK.”

i’m also not going to tell you what the interview was about (but will post the link when it does run) but will say that i’m not sure i came off brilliant. and now i’m afraid of how my quotes will be used!! i am painfully aware of how i said something to the effect of…

- i’m a high hair maintenance kind of gal. (this is true)
- i’m not sure i’d ask my friends for their hair advice (my intention was different but this is what i came up with)
- a good hair cut can really make your day (this is very true)

hmmm. you can probably guess what kind of article this is going to be about by those above gems that came out of my mouth.

fun stuff. clearly was not interviewed about something truly intellectual like politics or the state of the economy but this was (in my humble opinion) just as important.
